Well, here’s another weekly update on what’s new in my world.
This week went by WAY too fast and it’s Friday before I even knew it had come. Today was pretty much catching up on sleep and was a “Good” Friday in ideal, if not the traditional sense.
My family may not be around for Easter, but I’ll make the most of the holiday weekend and try to eat less fast food and have something slightly more healthy. I’ve got to cook more for myself.
So, I’ve got my plane ticket for Toronto for the Sheridan Open House and I’m quite excited. We’ll be in the TO area from April 27th to May the 2nd. It’s going to be a nice break and a good chance to power up for the summer. Ideally, we’ll have time to visit family and friends as well as taking care of business stuff around the school.
Things at the office are buzzing as always and there’s never a dull moment. It seems like no matter what day or time you come by, there’s always someone diligently working away at our projects or client work. It’s a good feeling.
Now that the weather’s warming up, I’ve been walking home from the office more often. It’s good exercise and a good time to clear my head. It’s weird to think of myself as living in Alberta, even though it’s been almost a year. The only reason it’s readily apparent is the lack of contact I can have with my friends and family in Ontario. And, of course, that’s one of the reasons I put together this newsletter in the first place.
I think Jeremy and I are going to go and see The Matrix tomorrow. I’ll let you all know what I think of it.
Until next week…
